That's what Wilner does today in his PAC Hotline article...
From toughest to easiest as he sees it...
1) Colorado - good luck Deion with this schedule that has the Buffs playing TCU, Oregon, ASU, UCLA, Wazzu and Utah on the road...
2) Utah - the Utes have to play Baylor, Oregon St, USC, Wash, and AU on the road and also has Florida and ASU at home...
3) Cal - not very talented team has Auburn, ASU, USC and Oregon St at home along with Wash, Utah, Oregon and UCLA on road...
4) Wash - no non-conference cream puffs that include Boise St and Tulsa at home and Mich St on the road but gets Oregon, ASU and Utah at home...
5) USC - has two BYE weeks and seven home games so not sure why Wilner considers Trojans with a fairly tough schedule...
6) Arizona - Cats get Wash, Oregon St, UCLA and Utah at home but play Miss St, USC, and ASU on road...IMHO, Cats have much tougher schedule than either Wash or USC...
7) Oregon - Ducks last half of schedule includes USC and Oregon St at home and Wash, Utah and ASU on road...
8) ASU - Sun Devils have eight home games most of which are winnable but have to play Wash, Utah and UCLA on road...
9) Stanford - Cardinal misses Utah and ASU and has seven home games that include Sac St so new coach - Troy Taylor - has a chance for some success in Palo Alto...
10) Wazzu - Cougars miss both USC and Utah but have to visit Oregon, UCLA, ASU and Wash...
11) Oregon St - Beavers miss USC and ASU and get Utah, UCLA, and Wash at home with only Oregon on the road...
12) UCLA - Bruins miss Wash and Oregon but plays Utah, Oregon St and USC on road...ASU is probable their toughest PAC home game...
Any comments or observations..??
I like our chances of winning more games than the Buffs, especially given their respective schedules, but we don't yet have the overall talent and depth to match the conference big boys right now, IMHO...
I think we should win at least six games and, perhaps, as many as eight if a few things go our way...
