ASU Announces 2024 Hall of Fame Class

They will be honored at halftime of the Kansas game

Never as good or bad as it seems

Former ASU Basketball coach Herb Sendek used to say “it’s never as good or bad as it seems”

He was referencing the highs of big wins when fans thought the program had broken through and the lows of terrible losses when fans thought his program was irreversibly broken.

Of course Sendek was unable to ever capitalize on momentum for the program but was also never down and out either.

So was he right? Or was it a self fulfilling prophecy?

This is what I’ve been asking myself leading up to the Kansas football game this weekend. One part of me thinks a loss here could snowball Dillingham into an irreversible slide. Another part of me thinks win or lose, it’s just a game in a 3-4 year plan.

In the grand scheme of things, how important is this Kansas game for Dillingham? I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Dillingham believes that Kansas’ record doesn't reflect their talent level

“They don’t look like a team that’s struggling much. They’re the same team that was predicted to potentially win the league at the start of the season." Kenny Dillingham knows that a 1-4 record inaccurately portrays ASU's upcoming opponent
