The past 2 summers thanks to either JediASU, youtube, or other archived sites I've tried to pass the time by watching at least one ASU Victory from the previous season. And with 8 and 10 win seasons to review it's helped bridge the gap during the summer months. For me I can usually hold off my withdrawals until after college baseball season ends. And if the Sun Devils make it to Omaha that usually keeps me going until the middle of June. Even if that isn't the case, Pac-12 Football Media Days typically begin the last weekend in July and lately that has meant that Fall Camp is a week later, with Camp T the week after that.
SO, watching ASU football replays in June/July for me are at least a way to keep the fire goin so-to-speak. Which leads me to this topic. How would you rank the victories from 2014 in order of which ones were the most important. The response I got on Twitter overwhelmingly felt the USC victory was the most important not because of the JaelMary play by itself, but rather because of how that win seemed to truly turn the season around. So here's how I see it:
10. Colorado - I put this one last because of Taylor Kelly's injury.
9. Weber State - would have been last if not for what happened up in Boulder
8. New Mexico - letting UNM back in it was frustrating, but then they poured it on
7. UW - TK's 1st game back was a rough one
6. WSU - The early kickoff and Senior Day nerves truly affected TK, once again Defense sparks route
5. Utah - Hard fought battle that kept ASU in the hunt
4. Duke - Seniors left on a good note, but it was another nailbiter
3. Notre Dame - yes it was a spotlight game, but I argue that...
2. Stanford - was more important because of exorcising Stanford Demons. Domination was huge
1. USC - what can you say. Team never quit. Every time it looked bleak they came back.
