Over the years ASU has recruited a lot of JC players. Sometimes out of necessity. Sometimes because they were just too damn good to overlook. Some were flops. Some were good and made serious contributions. Some were exceptional and could be game changers. BA is one of those. He’s up there with Derrick Rodgers, the Manimal, D Randall, J Strong, and a few other Devil JC transfers who could dictate the final outcome of a college game.
He was probably under targeted last year but that could be understood. But this is his year and he’s making people take notice. As long as he can keep that speed and athleticism, he should get some good paychecks for playing on Sunday.
However, I wouldn’t mind it if he could tone down the flag catching celebrations. Although tonight’s was priceless.
