* The ASU defense unit has recorded 33 quarterback sacks for losses of 213 yards over its past six games. The defense registered just 11 quarterback sacks for losses of 67 yards over the first five games of the campaign. ASU is averaging 5.5 sacks and 35.5 yards in losses per game during the six-game stretch. ASU ranks No. 1 in the nation in quarterback sacks, averaging 4.00 per game. The Sun Devils also rank No. 2 nationally in team tackles for loss, averaging 8.9 per contest.

* Junior linebacker Salamo Fiso ranks No. 3 nationally in tackles for loss, averaging 1.7 per game. Teammate Antonio Longino is No 10 nationally at 1.5 per game. Carl Nassib of Penn State is No. 1 at 1.8.


* Graduate wide receiver Devin Lucien posted one of the best receiving days in the Pac-12 this year. He pulled down nine catches for 190 yards and a score in the Sun Devils 52-37 win over Arizona in the Territorial Cup. The 190 yards was the second-highest total in the Pac-12 this season.

* Junior placekicker Zane Gonzalez has scored a point in each of his 39 games at ASU, just six shy of the school record 45 games set by placekicker Luis Zendejas.

* ASU defensive back Kareem Orr broke the ASU freshman record for interceptions in a season, which was four set by David Fulcher in 1983. Orr now has five in 2015. He has intercepted USC’s Cody Kessler, Colorado’s Sefo Liufau, Oregon’s Vernon Adams, Washington State’s Luke Falk and Arizona’s Brandon Dawkins. Orr is now ranked No. 11 nationally in total interceptions with 5. The national leaders are Desmond King of Iowa and Shawun Lurry of Northern Illinois at 8 each.
