Are we smarter than the recruiting services?
Honestly, I look at our roster and I see talent all over. But, I look at the recruiting rankings and we aren't making waves. What am I missing?
We are all hyped up about AP and the recruiting he is bringing to the program, but, I don't see that we are landing top 15 classes like Jimmy Lake was at Washington in a similar role. Or like Mac Brown is doing at UNC. Never mind the blue bloods.
I hear the message over and over that we need to hang on to AP at all costs because of his recruiting. I'm not opposed to that necessarily, but, with that kind of hype I would expect to see top 15 classes. According to Rivals that isn't happening. So, what is the story?
Are we saying that our recruits are better than Rivals thinks?
Are we saying that 2022 is going to be "The Class"?
Thoughts.....
