Hey guys,

I was out at ASU pro day today. The story is coming soon, but here are some quick numbers and observations from pro day...

NOTE: All times listed in here are unofficial (in case I forget to specify with certain guys):

Here are the teams I saw there: Bengals (Including head coach Marvin Lewis), Eagles, Patriots, Texans, Titans, Dolphins, Browns, Chargers, Jets, Colts, Cowboys, Jaguars, Ravens, 49ers, Falcons, Giants
I'm sure there were more, but it was tough to keep track of them as the day went on. I even heard a San Diego Padres scout was there. From what I heard, he was scouting Laiu Moeakiola, who played baseball from a young age.

GUMP HAYES: He is fast. You know that. He ran an unofficial 4.32 in the 40-yard dash. After he finished pro day, he told us he thought he'd run it faster because he'd been running a 4.29 at points throughout his training.

LAIU MOEAKIOLA: Ran an unofficial 4.40, which surprised a lot of us. He spoke after pro day and what he said about cherishing the opportunity was really interesting (more about that in the story).

TIM WHITE: He ran an unofficial 4.49. His daughter also provided perhaps the best moment of the afternoon. Before he ran that 4.49, she pointed at him and yelled, "That's my daddy!" She was kind of like the Riley Curry of ASU pro day.

ZANE GONZALEZ: Zane mostly kicked outside once everyone finished the 40-yard dash and three-cone drill. He and Matt Haack were talking to a Bengals scout for a bit. We will have more on him coming later in the story. He wasn't very active at pro day until he kicked outside.

Other random numbers (It was tougher to record the weight room activity than in year's past because they did not announce the numbers as vocally as they usually do):
Gump Hayes' vertical jump was 36 inches. That would have been ranked 15th at this year's NFL Combine.
Salamo Fiso didn't participate in the field drills, but tallied 21 bench press reps.
Edmond Boateng had 24 bench press reps.
Fred Gammage ran a 4.45 in the 40-yard dash.
Antonio Longino ran a 4.73.
Kody Kohl's 40-yard dash time was 4.63.

THROWING: Manny Wilkins threw to White, Gammage, Eric Lauderdale and Kohl. They all looked pretty good until they got to the deep ball. Manny overthrew a few of them, but he had practiced and thrown that morning, so I guess you can't fault him too much. It was pretty standard. He threw the guys short, intermediate and deep routes.

SPECIAL VISITORS: Marvin Lewis (previously mentioned), Mike Bercovici and his father (seems like they're always around)

I'll have more of the players' reactions in my story coming soon. If there are any questions, don't hesitate to ask!
