Why didn't the Huskies use a zone defense more against the Devils as that is definitely the Devils Kryptonite..??

The Devils were stronger and more athletic it looked to me with the Huskies playing man defense...

Aside from the USC meltdown, the Devils have been coming on later in the season because Holder appears much better and Goodman was pretty acclimated by then after being ineligible early on...

I'm not a Herb fan as you all know because I don't think he can win any championships at ASU or even play within the top third of the PAC annually, so we'll still be looking at a Dance appearance once in a Blue Moon...

However, I am intrigued by Holder and think he may become pretty darn good PG with enough development and he has another three years of eligibility left and is not a pro prospect, so that bodes well for Herb and the Devils...

Goodman plays bigger than he is and is a very good player but the Devils will need another big man next season or else they may not be much better or even worse than now, IMHO...

I don't know how good the two recruits are and whether they will add much of anything to next year, so I'm thinking we are going to be in the same boat next season...a bubble team at best, with another NIT bid a good probability, unless Sendek can land another bigger version of Goodman to the team this off season...

On another note, Herb now has 18 wins and is only two wins away from the magic 20 number...

Am I right about the players I've talked about and our prognosis for next year..??

And, why didn't the Huskies play more zone..??

Plus, any thoughts about the 30 second shot clock..??

Championships or Bust...Go Devils!!!
