Sun Devil Athletics will host a men's basketball "Fan Conference" with new head coach Bobby Hurley on Thursday, June 18, from 6-7 p.m. at Wells Fargo Arena.
Coach Hurley will take questions from the fans "media style" ranging from summer preparation, his first two-plus months on the job and anything else any Sun Devil wants to ask (just remember he can't talk specifics on recruiting per NCAA policy).
Also on hand to take questions will be seniors Eric Jacobsen and Gerry Blakes.
Parking is available in both the Stadium Structure west of the arena and Packard Structure east of the arena.
Please enter through the west tunnel and make your way to the north side stands.
Sun Devil ticket representatives will be available, giving you the opportunity to ask questions and renew your season tickets during the event.

ERIC JACOBSEN NOTES: Jacobsen enters his senior season with 98 games played (50 starts). He doesn't take a lot of shots, but when he does, he makes them. The Chandler, Ariz., product shot .626 from the field (102-of-163) last season, the fourth-best season mark in Sun Devil history. Jacobsen averaged 28.6 minutes, 8.3 points and 5.9 rebounds last year in 34 games after averaging 8.8 minutes, 2.1 points and 1.8 rebounds in his first two seasons. He will enter his senior season with 98 games played and a career .576 shooter (148-of-257).

GERRY BLAKES NOTES: Blakes, who played played in all 34 games and started in 33, put together a solid first season after transferring from San Bernardino Valley College. He averaged 11.1 points (third on team), 4.2 rebounds and had 60 assists (second on the team). He also shot .822 from the free throw line (.822).

Blakes was coached in junior college by Sun Devil Quincy Brewer (B.S., Social Work, 1997), who was a four-year lettermen who played in 82 games in his career from 1993-97. Brewer was the team’s second-leading rebounder (5.3 per game) in 1994-95 during ASU’s Sweet Sixteen run and 24-9 record. He started in 24 games and played in all 33 that year, averaging 6.7 points per game.
