The Devils are playing their second of two at Quinnipiac tonight at 5 p.m. (AZ Time). We lost 5-2 last night after taking too many penalties. Hopefully we can clean it up tonight. Top scorer, Robbie Baillargeon is out of the lineup for the second-straight game. He was injured last weekend and this could be a result of that. But there has been no official word from anyone covering the program. Joey Daccord is in goal tonight after Rob Levin made the previous four starts. When we were last on the road at Ohio State, we suffered a similar game one loss but battled back for a tie against then #10 Ohio State (won in the shootout that is not recognized by NCAA). Coach Powers is going with seven defensemen tonight, so line combos should be interesting watch.
We only have two more games against D-I opponents after tonight, with two at Western Michigan, currently ranked #10. QU played in the national championship last season, losing to North Dakota. So once again, playing some of the best in the sport.
