Dantonio said the players have been fitted for compression tights, which they will wear on the flight. Dehydration is a problem during long flights and he said the players will hydrate during the flight.
He said MSU is planning to have a team meeting after they arrive in Arizona, which will make for a late meeting. And they will have a midnight snack, a legit snack at midnight, and they will keep the players up a little later than normal and let them sleep in.
As for temperature, Dantonio told DiNardo that MSU practiced on field turf on Tuesday and it was 140 degrees on the field turf. He said it was 98 on the grass. They expect it to be much cooler than that at night at ASU.
