I asked him if the high praise that former players such as Randall and Strong are receiving from NFL draft pundits, and the chance that both could be drafted in the first round is just as much of a testament of the program's progress as back to back 10-win seasons are. He replied:
"It's exciting," Graham said. " They worked hard to put themselves in that position. We have four of our guys who have a chance to go in the first four rounds so our guys' stock has risen. As they got evaluated, gone through interviews people are impressed with their character, their football knowledge and their mental maturity. So I feel really good about that.
"I'm excited. Sitting in the living rooms of these kids (during the recruiting process) talking to their parents about their dreams, and now to be a part of that tonight...I'm excited."
