UCLA moved Ishmael Adams to WR this (his RS senior) season.
As a recruit Rivals had him at #10 CB and #117 overall recruit in the nation and 4 stars
He had played as a true frosh but got injured early and received a medical RS
As a RS frosh he started all 13 games, had 4 INTs had at least 5 tackles in 8 games, KOR/PR (including a 58 yd KOR and 49 yd PR vs ASU)
As a RS soph started all 13 games, 2 INTs (Both pic-6's including against ASU for 95 yds)
As a RS Junior started 8 games and played in 10, he had 4 PBUs & 2 INTs (including 96 yd pic-6)
RS Senior moved to WR, NOT NEEDED AT CB

Adams is 5'8" which limits his NFL prospects but he was a very good college CB. Not to mention that in Oct 2015 he was arrested for battery when he was forcibly stealing a cell phone from an Uber driver. In May of this year he was sentenced to 36 months of probation. I assume this is why he didn't start all 13 games

I don't want any Sun Devils allowed to remain on the team and on scholarship that pull a stunt like this, however, it would sure be nice to have enough depth and talent at the CB position to be able to move a 34 game starter with 8 career INTs including 3 pic-6's, to WR for his final year of eligibility
