Back in May I went to Tucson for the Pima passing tournament and ran into Matthew Pola-Mao, brother of Isaiah, and recently graduated eighth grader. He was 6-2, 275 then, and I was told he'd start at Mountain Pointe as a freshman. He played the season at around 290, and held his own. He wasn't a world beater as a freshman, but linemen rarely are. He was offered by Oregon State today. I expect ASU will come in eventually.

I also saw that Richard Obert wrote about ASU having an interest in 2016 Centennial OL Tanner Hawthorne. I had written on the board back in August that I thought his play was going to get him some serious attention this year. I can confirm Hawthorne is receiving quite a bit of interest for his senior tape, but I don't see ASU as a viable option unless they strike out on a few guys (Rising, Bolles, etc). Even then, I'd think they'd go with the similar, but more proven AZ OT- Thayne Jackson of Gilbert.
