At Pac-12 Media Day I asked Manny Wilkins about Brian Lewerke, who he trains with in the summer. Here's what he had to say:
"Brian is very very very underrated. I think he is so talented, and some of the things he can do, is like, friggen' awesome. That dude can sling the rock. Him getting hurt, his ankle or whatever, I think that really made people not think of him (at the level) where he really is, as well as any quarterback who ever gets injured. It's happened to me before. I've seen him work, work, work, work this summer, and just to see him grow as a quarterback... It's just cool to see somebody grow so much. I think he's a real cool person as well. Very humble. He doesn't really talk too much. We play golf together and stuff like that, and shoot the sticks."
