Interestingly (to me at least), if Manny tacked on 2 more completions in 6 more attempts for 7 more yards, 2 TDs and no INTs, he would have equalled Darnold's stats exactly and tripled his QBR from 26.5 to 75.2
Obviously Darnold was pretty much done before half time (when he had 217 of his 266 passing yards), but still, quite a discrepancy on QBR
10 of Manny's 17 completions were behind the LOS
The other 7 completions were:
1)Harry incredibly is lost 8 yards behind any USC defender. Manny is rolling out in the end zone, no pressure and throws the ball 40 yards off his back foot and Harry has to stop and wait for the defender and the ball to arrive. He out-jumps him for the 35 reception and runs for 35 more
2)Slant to Newsome for 7 yds
3)5 yard dig to Humphrey who stretches it to a 12 yd gain
4)47 yard Hail Mary for TD to end the 1st half
5)32 yard completion to Harvey downfield
6)On 3rd & 22 Manny completes an 8 yard pass to Harry that stretches it to 15 yds
