Mitch Lightfoot is a 6-9 F from Division 2's Gilbert Christian (2016) who opened up his recruitment from his New Mexico commitment. Richard Obert reported that ASU has contacted him.
Lightfoot is a good player. He went off on Dobson (a very good D1 program) this year for 33 points and 18 rebounds, along with 14 blocks. He helped Gilbert Christian win a D2 championship after his parents filed for an injunction to allow him to play despite the AIA attempting to make him sit out a year.
By the time Lightfoot graduates high school he'll be ready to contribute as a true PF right away. He's not as polished as some (The Corona trio), but has a high upside and makes some exciting plays on both ends of the floor.
