TEMPE, Ariz. - Sun Devil Football is 16 days away from its season opener against Texas A&M at NRG Stadium on Sept. 5, and the team continues to garner preseason accolades.

Senior wide receiver D.J. Foster earned a second-team nod as an all-purpose player on CBS Sports’ 2015 Preseason All-America Team.

Redshirt sophomore wide receiver Ellis Jefferson and redshirt senior offensive tackle Billy McGehee were named to the preseason watch list for the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award, which recognizes the top offensive player in Division 1 football who exhibits the enduring characteristics that define Earl Campbell and also has a tie to the state of Texas.

The Senior Bowl’s 2016 Watch List featured nine Sun Devils, which ranked tied for the third-most selections among FBS programs. The seniors include quarterback Mike Bercovici, cornerbacks Kweishi Brown and Lloyd Carrington, wide receivers Gary Chambers and Foster, center Nick Kelly, linebacker Antonio Longino, safety Jordan Simone, and offensive guard Christian Westerman.

This initial watch list features 375 student-athletes and is created to give a look at who could ultimately fill the 110-person roster for the annual Senior Bowl at Ladd-Peebles Stadium in Mobile, Ala., on Jan. 30 at 4 p.m. ET on the NFL Network.
