Just wanted to post a quick thread on what I understood on the Murphy situation this morning. ..
As of last night, BM was still very conflicted on where he wanted to decide. Full court press from the local friends and the hard work of ASU to keep in contact had really weighed heavily. There was an early morning meeting that took place at Saguaro with him and his family to firmly decide on what he wanted to do ( I don't know any other details on that meeting ). BM loved the idea of staying home and playing with friends yet I personally believe his relationship with the position Coach up there won the battle. Coach Ball leaving did have a huge impact on the whole situation here and I think it was hard for ASU to recover after the departure. Hats off to CTG and staff for staying on the efforts and attempting to build the new relationship with Coach Rushing. I know it really weighed hard on Byron and thus the reason he was in fact so torn as of this morning.
