Going in I thought about how many injuries and the lack of depth in the ASU secondary. Heck we depended on a freshman most of the year. Orr was dressed as toast for Halloween. Cal has a four year starter at QB at least two 5 star receivers and a good Offensive plan. We have an inconsistent QB and an inability or desire to successfully play smash mouth Football in the red zone. Finally a kicker who missed 3 FG's against Oregon.

So he game starts ASU is decent in the first half then the sky falls. FG can not be traded for TD's. Everyone knows that. By the 12th game of the year everything is predictable. to every opponent.

This game started as a recruiting failure and ended with a coaching failure.

Lots off problems need to be solved.
