The media hype with daily articles about "prime time" and Shedeur may have led to the average idiot thinking both dad and son were better than they were, but teams in the NFL dont win on media agenda, and public popularity. The media crowning Prime (and I really like the man and player he was) as the next natty champ coach, posting daily articles helping him recruit, and painting him as the all time father, believer and respector of women while his son failed to make car payments resulting in repo, and spent two nights at a strip club prior to draft day exhibiting the qualities every team PR guy is lucking for, as well as the fact that reports are he never worked out a day since seasons end, led to a Mel Kiper meltdown on the draft broadcast.

If ANYONE should have been prepared and better advised it shoulda been the Buffs QB1, as his daddy should know a little something about the limelight, instant money, and fame. The fact that he didn't prepare the kid better (regardless of the kids attitude) should give any parent pause about Colorado football. If that man who is half preacher half coach, who the nation's media fawns over, who gets the AP to recruit for him, can't win, and fails to prepare his own son for the league, then how will he do with your son?

We put WAAAAAYYYY TOO MUCH trust into these pundits not just in sports and politics, but in everything. We are a media-crazed nation willing to blindly follow any pinhead with a TikTok page or YouTube channel. Just my opinion. Our coach is better, and so is our QB1. GO DEVILS! 89'
