This is a question I can’t get my head around. So next year everybody will have $15 million to pay football players. Will some of the Blue Bloods schools still have an extra 20 million or 30 million in addition to this $15 million. If this is the case, the windfall for players is going to be unbelievable. Or will the new rules rain in a lot of excess spending? I think that’s the intention but I can’t see any way that will happen. I think the only way is a hard salary cap. But let’s see. The only reason why I think this could possibly work is that even a lot of the SEC schools who dominate the sport are starting to see the current situation is unattainable, but the situation really is the wild wild West.
