I know the question on the 2016 class is buried somewhere on the board, but it probably merits a new thread so here it is:
With 17 scholarship seniors ASU's 2016 recruiting class probably won't be larger than 22-23 players. This means that you would see a handful or so of current players lost to attrition which is more or less the average rate you see with teams across the country.
That 22-23 number does include greyshirt Scrappy Norman who is expected to enroll at ASU in January.
Since Morie Evans didn't qualify out of high school and is currently attending Navarro Junior College in Texas, he obviously has to earn his AA degree before he enrolls at ASU or any other D-I school for that matter. The fastest he could probably earn his degree would be in a year and half, which means he could be a mid-year transfer in the 2017 class enrolling in January of that year. It would be impossible to speculate at this point whether Evans would or would not be part of ASU's class then.
