On opposing offensive scheme (Triple option):
“Ya, that’s just a very discipline oriented offensive scheme and we just need to do what we are coached to do, same as every other week, you know if one person doesn’t do what they’re coached to do it’s not the game and you know we only gave up 21 points I thought we did great defensively, you know how we reacted to the first game said a lot about our defense and that adversity is only going to make u better in the end.”

On momentum after lost fumble in 2nd quarter:
“You know it was a minor slip up something that happened, something in that situation we can see how important it is to uh to keep the first down and stay on the field there but at the end of the day we got to respond and come out In the 3rd quarter and at the end of the day we felt that it was a win, we have a lot of things to work on but uh Kody Kohl played a great game it was one minor slip up and I know that he won’t do that again.”
On communication between coaches and players:
“I felt the communication was great, I felt our offense did a great job had a few minor slip ups in the red zone but that is something we can work on but all in all I think we are really excited about every week we’re getting better and better. I think we’re very eager to get back on the practice field as soon as we can because I think we did a lot of things good offensively.”

On how his role on offense helped “open up the offense”:
“You know we were just doing what we were coached to do, we were being discipline on our reads and listening to the captians on offense. Actually, the playbook, the scheme we ran this week was a great scheme so you know we were just doing what we were coached to and focusing on our detail.”
