I believe that players from any school have another two weeks from today to enter the transfer portal...
I also believe that if these players are grads they can enter the portal at any time...
There is also another portal window in May that runs for two weeks...
That said, once a player enters the portal, can they visit another school at any time during the year or are they constrained to some window..??
We know that ASU is shopping for some DL and LBs but would also take an impact player at any position, based on what I've heard Dilly say...
So, can these portal players visit ASU at any time and will we be notified of the visits or is that secret..??
I don't think a verbal commitment is binding until the player signs a form (forget what it is called) but in reality nothing sticks until the player is actually in school and attending classes...
Is that correct..??
I'm not sure when the next semester starts at ASU but are all of our portal transfers now on campus and ready to participate in Spring practice..??
Relatedly, if a player isn't in school by the start of spring classes can they still participate in Spring ball even if they enroll later in the semester..??
There are apparently thousands of players in the portal and are they still on their original schools scholarship until they find another school..??
If not, when is the scholarship rescinded and the player is then on their own, so to speak..??
From what I've read about 2/3 of all portal players find other homes but about 1/3 do not, so I guess they gambled and lost...
Finally, can a player return to his home school at any time or are there rules associated with that happening..??
Will this site keep track of portal transfer visits like they do with HS and JC recruiting..??

This is pretty confusing stuff and really adds to a coach's work load I would think...
