  • Frank Darby has now hauled in a touchdown pass in each of his last four games and has accounted for two touchdowns in three of those outings. He has seven touchdowns over the last four games. Prior to the UCLA game, he had five total receiving touchdowns in his previous 30 career games to the current four-game stretch.
  • Over his past four games, he has made 16 catches for 387 yards (24.2 yards per catch) and seven touchdowns.
  • His 125-yard performance is the fifth 100+-yard game of his career.
  • 24 of Darby’s 58 career catches (41%) have gone for 20 or more yards.
NO FLY ZONE
  • Senior Kobe Williams recorded a career-high three pass breakups in addition to six tackles and a pivotal fourth-down stop in the red zone in the first half.
  • The Sun Devils recorded eight passes defended in the game (six breakups, two interceptions). They entered the contest 19th nationally with 48 passes defended this season (4.8 per game).

  • Senior Kyle Williams has now caught a pass in 39 consecutive games, a mark that is tied with Chris McGaha for fourth all-time in ASU history.
  • With 156 career catches, Williams now needs just one more catch to climb into eighth-place on ASU’s all-time career catch list.
KICKIN’ THE O
  • Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert had just three interceptions thrown all year before the Sun Devils picked him off on back-to-back pass attempts in the fourth quarter. He has thrown two interceptions against ASU in back-to-back years. Of his 13 total interceptions in the last two years (24 games), four have come against ASU.
  • ASU’s 535 total yards of offense are the most the Ducks have allowed since TCU recorded 545 yards in the 2016 Alamo Bowl. It was the most ASU has recorded this season.
  • Oregon entered the game second nationally in turnover margin (+1.30). They were tied for 12th nationally with 20 turnovers forced compared to only seven lost. ASU forced two turnovers without giving the ball up and outscored the Ducks 11-0 (all in the fourth quarter) in points off turnovers.
DAAAAAAMN DANIELS
  • Jayden Daniels set a new record for passing-yards by a true freshman quarterback. With his 57-yard pass to Frank Darby in the first quarter, Daniels passed Rudy Carpenter’s mark of 2,273 yards through the air set in the 2005 season.
  • Daniels has now thrown for three touchdowns in three-consecutive games, the first Sun Devil to accomplish the feat since Taylor Kelly in 2013 (9/21-10/5).
  • Daniels has now thrown for 2,644 yards this season, the 11th most yards in single-season school history.
  • After throwing touchdown passes of 81, 57, and 26 yards, 11 of Daniels’ 17 touchdown passes this season have gone for 25+ yards.
  • He put together his fifth 300+-yard performance through the air, becoming just the 10th Sun Devil quarterback to eclipse the mark in five or more games in a career.

  • Daniels 408 passing yards were the third-most in a single-game by a freshman in school history. He is the first Sun Devil to pass for over 400 yards since Mike Bercovici did it against West Virginia in the 2016 Cactus Bowl (1/3/16).
  • Daniels ended the first half nearly flawless, going 12-for-14 for 191 yards and a touchdown with his two incompletions coming on the final drive of the half.

  • Brandon Aiyuk eclipsed the 1,000-yard receiving mark this season with his 34-yard catch in the second quarter. He finished with 161 receiving yards, his third game this season of 150 or more receiving yards (second consecutive) - tied for fourth most in school history for career games with over 150 receiving yards.
  • He is the third current Sun Devil to eclipse the 1,000-yard mark and the 16th in program history. He has 1,125 receiving yards this season, passing Jaelen Strong for seventh in ASU school history.
  • This represents his eighth performance with 100+ all-purpose yards this season and 12th of his career. He eclipsed 200 all-purpose yards for the fifth time in his career and for the third consecutive game. He has 727 all-purpose yards in this three-game stretch (220, 293, 214).
  • The senior entered the game 9th nationally and first in the Pac-12 in all-purpose yards at 143.33 per game. He is over 2,000 all-purpose yards in his career at ASU despite being in Tempe for less than two full seasons.
