Can the Devils win PAC championships by allowing teams to score 30 or more points in games..??

Since Todd has been at ASU, the Devils have allowed opponents 30 or more points a game in about half of their games played (28 times in 55 games) and only won 10 of those games according to ESPN...

Oregon has won championships by outscoring opponents and not having great defenses while Stanford follows a different model entirely and has won 3 of the past 4 PAC championships...

I don't have a problem with our defensive scheme as long as we aren't giving up long TD plays all of the time...

To me, those big plays we give up are essentially defensive turnovers and should be counted as such in any calculus that's used to evaluate your defense and, on that basis alone, I think you could question the scheme that is being employed...

I also recognize in an up-tempo game that we use that your defense may be more gassed and, therefore more susceptible to big plays, than if you played a more conservative style of offensive football...

So, if Todd is only winning a third of those games, where opponents are scoring 30 or more points, can the Devils win championships that way..??
