In a previous thread, Hod verified that ASU and Maryland are in his top-2. And from ASU's perspective, I suppose it's good news that Sulaimon did not commit to Maryland on his visit.
However, IMO it will be tough for ASU to beat out Maryland. They have a loaded squad and offer Sulaimon a legitimate chance to win a national title next season. If the Terrapins landed Sulaimon, they would likely start the season ranked in the top-5.
It will be interesting to see if ASU can at least secure a visit from Sulaimon before he makes a decision.
