Since the start of fall camp, and after reading all these great reports, interviews etc:
I'm finding I'm less worried (not no worry, but less worry) now than in the spring about:
1. The CB's (and I can't believe I'm putting that #1). Think it is going to work out
2. The WR's. Great looking group. Need one of these studs to be the #1.
3. The OL. All new faces, but it is a good looking (although young) group.
4. The New Coaches: I'm betting the coaching is meaningfully improved with this group vs. last year.
5. The special teams: Wasn't overly worried in the spring, but think this is our best year yet under CTG for this group.
I'm finding I'm more worried (maybe not overly worried) now than in the spring about:
1. Sam and LM being ready to go week 1 (in good form).
2. Getting contributions this year from the last JC class (with a few exceptions)
3. QB: Think we'll be good, but not sure about great. Really thought Perkins was going to ultimately be the guy. Lot of confidence in Manny/Brady to work it out.
4. A Key injury or two. Losing one of the big guns on offense would be tough. Glad DR seems OK. Think we still might be a little thin at Nose, but really glad that Lea has had a great camp. Think he plays more snaps than less.
Overall though... I'm ready to mix up the Koolaid, and hammered the devils in Vegas on the "over 6 win" line.
Think it is going to be a good year.
