Didn't hit the magic 20 wins to get an auto raise and extension.

RA stated that he's been hearing from a lot of people who aren't happy with the program. Does RA gamble in that if he doesn't make a change Herb may win 20 next season and thus it become much more expensive to fire him.

Obviously I think RA need to make a move. Firing Herb would also send the signal to the fans and the boosters that "ok" isn't going to cut it at ASU for any athletic program.

We have the returning players for the right coach to make a run next season. If we can get that young, dynamic coach who can win the press conference and recruit we could start the ascension next season.

Howland doesn't appear to be anything more than Herb/Erickson part deaux.

We know the really hot names, the Shaka Smarts, Greg Marshalls, and Archie Millers, probably aren't even in the conversation. That's not to say that ASU can't put together a package and a plan of future WFA upgrades to make them interested.

It's going to be an interesting week or so.
