If you are traveling to campus on Friday-Sunday use the following suggested routes:
North Scottsdale:
101 South to University, west to Rural or Sixth Street
West Valley / Central Phoenix:
202 east, exit Priest, south to University, east to College or Sixth Street
East Valley / East Mesa:
West on 202, South on 101 to University, west to Rural or Sixth Street
Between Friday and Sunday, expect the following closures:
•Avoid Rio Salado between Priest and McClintock.
•Rio Salado Pkwy westbound between Mill Ave and Ash Ave
•Rio Salado Pkwy eastbound between Mill Ave and Ash Ave
•Rio Salado Pkwy/Ash Ave in both directions between Hardy Dr and the US Airways garage just north of 3rd St
•1st Street eastbound between Farmer Ave and Rio Salado Pkwy
The following streets will be restricted or closed Sunday from 6 AM until approximately 6 PM:
•Rio Salado Parkway/Ash Ave will be closed westbound between the US Airways garage just north of 3rd St and Hardy Dr
•Rio Salado Pkwy will be restricted to one lane westbound between Hardy Dr and Priest Dr
•Rio Salado Pkwy will be restricted to one lane eastbound between Mill Ave and McClintock Dr. All traffic at intersecting streets and driveways will be required to turn right. No lefts or through movements will be permitted along this stretch of Rio Salado Pkwy
•Rio Salado Pkwy will be closed westbound between McClintock Dr and Mill Ave. All westbound traffic (east of McClintock Dr) must turn left onto southbound McClintock Dr. Limited access will be granted to local residents between Rural Rd and Mill Ave (from southbound Rural Rd only)
•Priest Dr will be restricted to two lanes northbound between Rio Salado Pkwy and the SR202L eastbound on-ramp
•Mill Ave will be closed southbound between Washington St/Curry Rd and 2nd St
•Mill Ave northbound will be closed at 2nd St (access to businesses maintained)
•Scottsdale Rd southbound will be closed at the SR202L. Local access will be provided to area businesses and residents south of the SR202L
•Rural Rd northbound will be closed at Rio Salado Pkwy. All northbound traffic must turn right onto eastbound Rio Salado Pkwy.
•McClintock Dr will be closed in both directions between Rio Salado Pkwy and the SR202L on/off-ramps. North of the SR202L on/off-ramps, traffic will be restricted to one lane northbound. All southbound traffic that does not turn right onto eastbound Curry Rd will be forced onto westbound SR202L
•All traffic exiting the SR202L at Scottsdale Rd will be required to turn northbound onto Scottsdale Rd. Local access will be provided to area businesses and residents south of the SR202L
•All traffic exiting eastbound on the SR202L at McClintock Dr will be required to turn northbound onto McClintock Dr
