Today's Topic = Questions
These are just some of the questions I'm asking myself this week as we look forward moving into the new year...
Is anyone here going to be rooting for Georgia tomorrow night against TCU for the national championship..??
I know that I'll be pulling for the Horned Frogs but also know that Talent Is Destiny and that the Bulldogs have a lot more of it than the Frogs...
Do our Devils have any chance someday to reach the national playoffs once they expand to 12 teams in 2024..??
Sure, anything is possible but how plausible will it be for our Sun Devils to reach the playoffs, unless our recruiting improves dramatically...
Do our chances for making the playoff improve because both the Trojans and Bruins will be leaving for the B1G conference in another year..??
I would think that they would have to improve but time will tell based on what kind of talent Dilly and his staff can bring in and develop at ASU...
Is it just that simple or are other more significant variables at play here...??
Like whether the PAC can get a media package that will rival some other conferences in terms of money...
Will the PAC still be in existence in another year or so..??
Our commissioner thinks so but what is he basing that on...hope which we know is not a strategy...
Should teams that only win six games during a season deserve to be in a bowl game..??
I think not since it's like giving a trophy to a team for just participating in a a season...
How many fans are actually paying attention to most bowl games anymore..??
I used to look forward to bowl season but with so many games, with so few fans in the stands, at most games, and with players sitting out games, what's the point...
Can the Devils use a whole new roster next season to compete and beat the likes of USC, Oregon and Utah next season..??
It looks like about half of our roster for next season will be composed of new players and that can't be a good thing can it...
Ideally, what is a good number of transfers to add to your roster each season moving forward..??
About a half dozen or more or less depending on how you do with your HS and JC recruiting...
Will our Sun Devil basketball team make the Big Dance this year..??
Things look promising thus far but we also have a tendency to just about always be on the outside looking in...
How many new players will Dilly and his staff round-up following this weekend..??
One, two, three, four, five or more...stay tuned...
Has anyone seen or heard from our local weatherman...Doxie..??
We just want to know that he is okay...
Cannot beat the weather in the Arizona desert this time of year...
