This afternoon I talked to the Devilbacker prospect who didn't academically qualify to play at ASU, about his future plans.
Subtyl said that he is retaking those classes needed to qualify, as well as taking extra classes to get his GPA higher.
When I asked him if he still plans to sign with ASU (his NLI is not binding anymore), he said:
"I give Todd Graham and Slocum my word no matter what happened, I'm still gonna play for them. I'm a man of my words. Everybody telling me to come back home FSU. I'll make my decision in January."
So there you have it.
