unfortunately the New Reality stories like this hitting us more and more........this kid signed his "contract" in high school, received $$ while still in HS, so obviously his expectations not normal compared to the rest of us..........$8M contract, making $2M+ per yr, and wanted more???

To my note smells of dad/agent comparing his $ to others and saying "time to renegotiate"..........sad that he would not return calls to the HCoach leading up to his decision to leave, just shows you kid far more invested in himself than the team, so for me kudos to Tennessee

Yes he will find someone who will show him the money, but just shows that the need for a college athletics unified front is going to be increasingly important moving forward, or the system will collapse short of 20-30 programs.....and if that happens well only the crazies will be left around to watch what use to be the best game in town!

a lot of good info in this story - his reps had reached out to Oregon BEFORE spr ball even started......
