Thank you South Carolina for having a 1% chance of making it to the Final Four when the tournament started. Thank you South Carolina for not having a recruiting class ranked higher than 26th since Frank Martin was hired. Thank you South Carolina for sticking with the plan Frank Martin had in place, not get antsy when he didn't make the tournament his first 4 years there, and now reap the rewards of their patience. Thank you South Carolina for being the example Arizona State and countless other programs needed to see to believe that it is possible.
It's simple guys. We all want to be behind a winner, and I believe someday soon that day will come. But, we also have to realize that these things take time. In the era of one and dones, South Carolina has shown to the entire basketball world that you can reach maximum potential with effort, development and patience.
