Todd Graham said this morning on 98.7 FM that guard Sam Jones is out. I would anticipate that the lineup we saw in practice is what we will see on Saturday which means Stephon McCray sliding to left guard to replace Jones, Quinn Bailey at right guard and Zach Robertson at right tackle.

Manny Wilkins as Graham yesterday said is "questionable" for Saturday. Wilkins' ankle is feeling better but he has another ailment (that I cannot discuss) that is limiting him. I don't know if it's a given that he will start, but I wouldn't be surprised if he did. Obviously it just all depends on his physical condition come game time.

Dillon Sterling-Cole has looked better this week in practice, but is still somewhat erratic with his play. Obviously a lot has been placed on this true freshman's plate the last two weeks. If he does play meaningful minutes maybe he go out and surprise. WSU's defense is last in the Pac-12 in sacks so at least on paper ASU shouldn't be facing a pass rush juggernaut.

The defensive line has really been challenged in practice this week to step up after giving up 315 rushing yards last week. As we said in our video preview, and again this is all in theory, ASU's rush defense should have an easier time this week, but they have to be mindful of the fact that the Cougars have scored 14 rushing touchdowns in the red zone this year.

Remains to be seen if safety Armand Perry can play, let alone start. Chad Adams is likely to replace him in the lineup, not an enticing proposition. James Johnson isn't an option as he is out for this week due to a leg injury he suffered in practice. Don't know how long he will be out but it doesn't appear that it will be matter of a week or two.
