Tuesday Practice Report

ASU was inside the bubble today for practice. Nothing really out of the ordinary in stretching. Kareem Orr looked good in form tackling drills as they stations today. JoJo Wicker worked with the Devilbackers in drills.

Green jerseys: Ami Latu, Gump Hayes, Jalen Harvey, Kalen Ballage, Cam Smith, Dillon Faamatau, Fred Gammage. Armand Perry was still on crutches and in a walking boot. Ballage went out to at least stand next to the running backs during drills and then went over to muscle beach.

11 on 11:
First-team offense: Mike Bercovici (QB), Demario Richard (RB), Tim White (WR), Devin Lucien (WR), Gary Chambers (WR), Raymond Epps (TE), Evan Goodman (LT), Christian Westerman (LG), Stephon McCray (C), Vi Teofilo (RG), and Sam Jones (RT).

Eric Lauderdale and Ellis Jefferson rotated in at the wide receiver spot.

First-team defense: Tashon Smallwood (Tiger), JoJo Wicker (Tiger), D.J. Calhoun (WILL), Antonio Longino (DEVIL), Ishmael Murphy-Richardson (DEVIL), Laiu Moeakiola (SPUR), Solomon Means (CB), Lloyd Carrington (CB), Kweishi Brown (CB), Jordan Simone (S), and Kareem Orr (S)

Note that given the package that ASU was in defensively, Kareem Orr took Armand Perry's reps at safety.

In tempo, offense was down 1 point with 1 minute 20 seconds to play.

The defense won the day and Bercovici had trouble locating throws to the sideline. He overthrew Devin Lucien twice and then missed Gary Chambers over the middle. His only completion I believe was on 3rd down on a crossing route to Lucien for a first down. After the drive stalled, Zane Gonzalez came out to try a field goal from about 45 yards out which he missed wide right.
