I'm hearing Isaac Steele, Centennial's QB/DB who has had the tough task of lining up across from Jack Jones in week 1, Byron Murphy in week 2, and will be trying to outduel Basha's Ryan Kelley on both sides of the ball tonight, wants to be a Sun Devil. If he's offered, he'd likely commit.
He has mail from dozens of schools, but his GPA is right on the line, which, along with waiting for news on what other high profile recruits are going to do, could be what's holding him back.
I'm not sure ASU is high on Steele- I know he was invited to lift with ASU over the summer, but if he keeps putting together positive film against high profile Pac-12 targets, the attention will likely come. Isaiah Oliver of Brophy, who was the athlete I was highest on last year as having the most upside, didn't get a Pac-12 offer until mid-November. I put Steele in that category.
