ATTIRE: Helmets, jerseys and shorts

LOCATION: Kajikawa Practice Fields

AVAILABILITY: About 15-20 minutes

EN VERDE (green, no contact): DB James Johnson (had same brace on right knee)

TOWELS AND SUNSCREEN (muscle beach): You would think this team practices in California because the beach was packed today..

LB Salano Fiso (sleeve on left leg) , LB Christian Sam, OL Sam Jones, OL Stephon McCray (right foot in walking boot), WR Cam Smith

Notes: Tim White was there, but did not participate in practice. Fabian noticed Marcus Ball's extremely short shorts yesterday. I can confirm that those were very short. CB Kareem Orr practiced and I believe Armand Perry did as well.

TAKEAWAY DRILLS: ASU started with takeaway drills today, led by Keith Patterson. "Tackle, locate, finish" was his motto as always.

11-ON-0 OFFENSE: ASU ran a few series of 11-on-0 offense. Here's how the teams looked:

First team: QB Manny Wilkins, RB Demario, WRs N'Keal Harry/Fred Gammage/Jalen Harvey, TE Raymond Epps, LT Evan Goodman, LG Steven Miller, C Tyler McClure, RG Quinn Bailey, RT Zach Robertson

Second team: QB Dillon Sterling-Cole, RB Nick Ralston, WRs Ellis Jefferson/Kyle Williams/ Terrell Chatman, TE Jay Jay Wilson, LT Cohl Cabral, LG C A.J. McCollum, RG Alex Losoya, RT Mason Walter

Third team: QB Jack Smith led this team

Notes: Kody Kohl was at practice, but his right ankle was taped. Wilkins seemed to be moving decently well in comparison to how he had in the last week, even just when he was walking around at practice.

Interesting (maybe): As he walked into practice, Demario Richard told SID Mark Brand that he had the Cubs in Game 7. We'll see...

As always, if you have questions or concerns, feel free to post.
