Nearly 15 years ago my website publishing career began on the
Rivals.com network and being in charge of no other than the ASUDevils.com website.
So it's good to be back home and working for the network that is second to none
in terms of its reputation and quality as a recruiting service.
I may have known the staff here at Rivals.com for less than
a month, but in a very short time they have already proven above and beyond their
outstanding professionalism, technical expertise, and most importantly their undivided
support of the transition this website has gone through.
Speaking of that transition, I'll be the first one to admit
that it hasn't been a smooth process. At the same time, please understand there
were many circumstances that were beyond my control, as well as Rivals' that
set everything in motion. So even though much of this couldn't be prevented by
anyone working here in the network, please accept my sincere apology if anyone
here felt frustrated, confused, etc. during this process. Good news is that's
all behind us now.
What's ahead of us is a Sun Devil sports online media outlet
which has the best staff I could ask for. Together with Joe Healey, Byron
Kline, Kyle Caldwell, Eric Menkhus (aka Big E) and many others I've built from
the ground up the biggest subscription-based Sun Devil sports media outlet on
Scout. And I wouldn't come to Rivals if I didn't think I couldn't do the same
here.
And it's not just the outstanding and proven staff from the
last several years that will help me get this accomplished, but also my
co-Publisher, John Perryman and managing editor, Ralph Amsden who have really
hit the ground running and working their tails off helping with the multitude
of tasks that a site transition requires, as well as bring a great staff with
them as well that will enrich the content on this site more than ever before.
It's great to see a lot of familiar customer names here, and
as far as the new customers that I hadn't had the pleasure to meet before, I
look forward to interacting with you here on the boards. If you ever need to
