The fiscal numbers recently were disclosed as part of the United States Department of Education’s Equity in Athletics Data Analysis. The figures for ASU are as follows:
Football total revenue $55,202,023
Football total expenses $31,642,564
A difference of $23,559,459
Basketball total revenue $9,458,824
Basketball total expenses $8,969,411
A difference of $489,413
When it comes to other teams in the Pac-12, saw Oregon leads with $80.9m in revenue, followed by USC at $69.9m and Utah at $66.7m.
UCLA has a very small margin as it brought in $42.8m in revenues but also incurred $37m in operating costs.
