This is a pinned thread so maybe some have missed it, but wanted to provide a current snapshot of the ASU roster coming out of spring practice.
Bottom line here is that ASU coming out of spring has 10 scholarship openings, and that number could grow with some expected attrition over the next couple of weeks (trying to beat the May 1st deadline that allows non-graduate portal transfers to have immediate eligibility).
I don't think ASU fills all of its 10 spots (or more) with newcomers, and as mentioned at a minimum, they will try to add 2 corners, 2 wide receivers, and an offensive lineman (probably left tackle). So that's five potential additions right there. Potentially a quarterback too which would make it six.
And I would expect walk-ons such as George Hart and BJ Green to receive a scholarship by the fall.
