Bob Schermerhorn = 0-1 (interim coach after Patterson was fired)
Bill Frieder = 2-1
Note: There was no PAC tournament from 1991-2002
Rob Evans = 0-4
Herb Sendek = 3-9
Note: Herb has been one and done in six out of his eight years at ASU and is the first coach to have lost to a #12 seed in the tournament
ASU is also 0-7 against both USC and UCLA in the tournament
Herb's best year was in 2009 with James Harden when the Devils went 2-1 losing in the title game to USC
In the other seven years, Herb has won (count it) one tournament game
That was a sad picture of him sitting in the MGM food court by himself after the latest loss to USC but he can console himself with another two years of a guaranteed contract that pays him about 1.3M a year thanks to RA
He will not be fired after the season so no Wheel of Fortune will need to be employed by the Sun Devils in the coming months to find a new coach
I'll let you draw your own conclusions but you cannot tell me that ASU cannot be a better BB program in the PAC than what they've traditionally shown in the PAC tournament
