Like most years there is some good baseball in the Pac-12 this season. Here are some bits and pieces to help us understand what we're up against
Arizona: 8
UCLA: 21
Stanford: 27
Oregon State: 32
USC: 58
Utah: 85
Cal: 91
UW: 96
ASU: 157
Washington State: 162
Red means we've already played them.
This next week we play Arizona and then 3 games at Stanford. That will really help our strength of schedule which should boost our RPI. Right now our non conference SOS is 110th nationally compared to 53rd last year. We knew coming into the season that we had a pretty soft ooc schedule, but we also knew that the conference slate would be tough so that should balance out. Our overall SOS right now is 73rd but with the crazy difficult April schedule I expect that to take a healthy jump.
2) UCLA: 6-3
3) Oregon State: 7-5
4) Oregon: 7-5
5) ASU: 5-4
6) Stanford: 6-6
7) Washington: 5-6
8) USC: 4-5
9) Utah: 4-5
10) Cal: 5-7
11) WSU: 2-10
Huge win today puts us right in the mix of things for the tournament. Reminder that the UofA game Tuesday is not considered a conference game and will not count toward these standings.
