coming into the game, USC was, on paper/statistically, one of the worst Defenses ASU will face over the final 9 games............

obviously 353 Total Yards (as ASU had vs USC) will not win many of the remaining 8 (and the season is young and the cupcakes are over but the Pac is currently sporting 3 of the top 11 FBS Total Defenses (all 3 are future 2023 ASU opponents UCLA/Utah/Oregon)

............and the next opponent, Cal is doing much better than many anticipated on both offense and defense
