I only bring this up because the AU AD has released her strategic plan for the Cats during the next five years...

Having at least 75% of her teams being represented in postseason play each year...

Achieving a winning percentage of 60% or better for all team sports...

Achieving a top 3 finish in Big-12 All-Sports standings within five years...

Winning at least five team championships per year within five years...

Achieving a 5% attendance increase in all sports on a yearly basis...

Growing the Zona Zoo involvement by 10% annually in all sports...

Ensuring that 85% of corporate sponsorships have multi-year contracts...

Increasing total partnership revenue by at least 15% annually...

Securing a minimum of at least 10 new partners every year...

Hosting 90 community and alumni outreach events each year...

Growing social media followers by 5% annually...

Driving over 65 million visitors to Arizona Athletics broadcasts and digital channels...

Achieving $27 million in total fundraising revenue by June 2026...

Increasing the donor base by 10% within five years...

Achieving at 10% increase in season ticket holder base and a 25% growth in group sales within five years...

Achieve a top 3 Big-12 ticket ranking in attendance across all sports within five years...

Balancing the schools athletic budget within a year...

She sums up the Cats mission this way..."to develop and graduate leaders, win championships and unite our community through the power of sports"

So, what are at least a dozen goals for our Sun Devil athletic dept in this new college sports landscape..??

Is it to aspire to greatness by crossing our fingers and hoping for the best that seemed to be president Crow's mission statement regarding Sun Devil athletics in the past, IMHO...

The Cats have won championships in both basketball and baseball while we continue to underachieve in both sports if you ask me...

At least we've won a football championship this past year...

So, what are Rossini's goals for our athletic dept given that the Valley is at least four times as big as the Tucson area..??

Or is it unrealistic to expect to have the same type of championship goals as our rival because there is so much more to do in the Valley, etc...
