In 2022 Udub was by far the biggest surprise in the Pac at 11-2. Road losses at UCLA/ASU and road win at #15 Oregon and neutral field win over #25 Texas
Offense--#1 Total Offense in the Pac (#2 FBS) in 2022 and #2 Scoring Offense (#7 FBS)
They return 8 starters from one of the best offenses in FBS. They lost their leading rusher but replace him with a strong transfer from Mississippi State and their #2 RB in 2022. (And ASU transfer Daniel Ngata will get some carries). They lose 2 of their 5 OL but replace the with 4th and 5th year Husky vets.
Defense--#3 Total Defense in the Pac in 2022, #4 Scoring D.
They lost more here (including their 1st/3rd/8th/9th leading tacklers and top CB) but return 6 starters . They replace Perryman at CB with very possibly an upgrade in Oklahoma State transfer Jabbar Mohammed and replace their MLB and 8th leading tackler with a possible upgrade in USC transfer Ralen Goforth
Special Teams--they lost their excellent place kicker, #3 in the Pac and return their Pac average punter
