Last week Rivals released their initial top 250 rankings for the class of 2017. Arizona State has offers out to over 40 of the uncommitted players. Where is ASU Recruiting for 2017? California, of course. 15 of ASU's current offers to uncommitted players in the class of 2017 are to left coast players. ASU is hitting Texas hard, with seven offers, including Loren Mondy's commitment. ASU is also taking care of their backyard with offers out to all six of the Arizona prospects in the Rivals 250. Who are they recruiting? DBs. over 25% of the current offers they have out are to defensive backs. There are also six WRs, six, QBs, and seven OL with ASU offers.
In my opinion, locally and nationally, outside of the quarterback position, this is one of the most important recruiting classes of the decade. Here's who has reported ASU offers thus far, with links to each of their profiles.
(And for anyone who cares, ASU and Nebraska have offered just 9 of the same kids in 2017 so far, with five, or in other words, the majority, being offered by ASU first)
