Per ESPN's Jeff Goodman, ASU is interested in 6-9 post player Braeden Anderson (Fresno State). The RS sophomore has two years of eligibility remaining and is immediately available next season.
Anderson, a Canadian native, was highly touted prospect coming out of high school. He originally signed with Kansas, but failed to qualify academically, and eventually landed at Fresno State.
In the 2012-13 season, he showed signs of potential as a freshman, averaging 4.1 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. However, he was involved in a serious car accident after the season, which forced him to sit out the entire 2013-14 campaign.
He returned to the team last season, but played sparingly (10.8 minutes per game) and averaged only 1 PPG and 1.8 RPG. He would likely be considered a backup option for Eric Jacobsen.
