- Jayden Daniels, in sharp contrast to yesterday, had a rough time during scrimmages, completing 1 of his 9 passes during 11-on-11 segments. The true freshman couldn't get his throws past the front six on several occasions, getting short passes batted down, broken up and even throwing an interception to Darien Butler, his second of the preseason and second he's thrown in as many days.

- Joey Yellen completed 5 of his 7 passes in 11-on-11's, and continues to look better each day of practice. He threw a perfectly placed deep ball to Ethan Long, who blew past the two defensive backs in the area to make a nice snag, and it resulted in a touchdown. He also had a great pass for a touchdown to Jordan Kerley in the 7-on-7 red zone drill, hitting him with a perfectly timed back shoulder throw in the right corner of the end zone, just beating the attempted swat by Aashari Crosswell.

- Dillon Sterling-Cole was pulled from yesterday's practice due to shoulder soreness, according to Herm Edwards, and as a result only took snaps for one segment on 11's, not throwing in 7's either. He was 2-for-5 on his throws, keeping them short and quick, but did take snaps with first-team receivers.

- Khaylan Kearse-Thomas participated in 7-on-7's, but otherwise remained limited, not practicing in 11-on-11's.

- Jermayne Lole will be held out until Monday, according to a team source

- No other changes from yesterday for players working on the side. We're told by a team source that Tyler Johnson is a good two weeks away from practicing

- Once again, Tyler Whiley shadowed Evan Fields at Tillman safety during first team install period

- For the first time in preseason, we saw Keon Markham in second team install, but he still did not participate in any scrimmage portions and was working on the sidelines

- Amiri Johnson left practice with an injury and did not return

- Butler's interception was a poor read by Daniels who didn't see him dropping into coverage. Nevertheless, it was a great play as a result of great positioning by the sophomore linebacker

- The defensive line- first and second team- probably applied the most QB pressure we've seen all preseason. Yellen was sacked twice, Daniels was sacked once by Butler and had two passes batted down by Michael Matus and Kyle Soelle
